Archery Instruction Program This is the first AIP course of 2026. So, you have made the first step one of our come and try sessions and would like to know more. The Archery Instruction Program (AIP) is the next step. A 3 week more intensive course that delves into aspects of technique, equipment, scoring, etiquette and field archery. Each session is 2 hours with a set curriculum designed to take participants from a novice to a beginning club archer. This course gets quite detailed quickly and as such is not suitable for younger children (under 10) as they may struggle with some of the concepts and it is advised that parents also sit in on the theory components of this program. Children under 10 may only be accepted at the discretion of the coaching staff. Week 1 covers: Introduction to Sherbrooke Archers Safety and etiquette The steps of good archery technique Scoring Target archery Weeks 2 & 3 cover: Stringing bows Sighting – including types and methods Equipment - Different bow types and trial of those bows Field archery

New sessions for 2026 will continue to be added.  hope you all have a wonderful holiday break.

This is for Members of Archery Australia who are visiting Sherbrooke Archers to pay their shooting fee. Please note that The Archery Aliance was cancelled by ABA, so unfortunately we are unable to accept ABA members as visitors to the club.

Orders are open for Shirts, Hoodies and Vests. Each will have our Sherbrooke Logo (adapted for our 50th anniversary) on the front left chest, SHERBROOKE on the back, and preferred name, if wanted.  Check out the attachments on TeamApp for details, like sizing and material.  When ordering, please choose your item size and name you would like on your item.
